Is training required before using certain machines?
Yes. For your safety and the longevity of the equipment, all members must pass a basic safety clearance or take one of our $25 certification workshops before operating heavy machinery like the CNC routers or Laser Cutters.
Do I need to bring my own materials?
We provide basic consumables (like 3D printer filament, glue, and screws) and maintain a free scrap bin. However, for primary build materials like large plywood sheets or specific acrylics, you will need to supply your own.
Can I reserve specific machines in advance?
Yes! Members get access to our online booking portal where you can reserve time slots on high-demand machines like the laser cutters and 3D printers to ensure they are available when you arrive.
Do you offer storage for my ongoing projects?
Absolutely. We know prototypes take time. Members have access to dedicated locker rentals and short-term project storage racks so you don’t have to haul your build back and forth to the lab.
What if I need help figuring out a machine?
Our on-site expert engineering professionals are always walking the floor. They are available to help you troubleshoot settings, choose the right tool, or get “unstuck” on a complex build.
